Build an Integration

Use the App Xchange Integration Builder to create an integration definition. Integration definitions are made up of the following components:

• Connectors: Communicate with external systems

• Features: Functionalities of the integration

• Services: Extract data from a connector

• Flows: Move data between systems

• Integration Registration: Syncs the integration definition with the workspace, at which point data can move between systems 

Building an integration is an iterative process, so you will likely jump between steps when first setting one up. To build an integration, complete the following:

1. Add an integration to your account.

2. Add features to your integration.

3. Add services to a feature.

4. Add flows to a feature.

5. Set up integration configurations.

6. Sync the integration definition with your development workspace to register the integration.

7. Test the integration in the development workspace. 

8. Register the integration to a workspace.
