CMiC Connector Configuration

Creating an XChangeServiceUser is an essential step in configuring a CMiC connector.

You must be a CMiC administrator to complete these steps.

1. In CMiC, navigate to System Data > Security > Users > User Maintenance.

2. Select Add New.

3. Select Create New User. The User Details window opens.

4. Create a user with the settings below.

a. Select the appropriate companies from the Default Company field

b. First Name: Xchange

c. Last Name: Service

d. Email address: Enter a valid email address you control

e. User Name: XChangeServiceUser

f. Select Next

5. Select the appropriate security group and assign a security role with the required system privileges for the function of the integration.

6. Select Next.

7. Select Finish and exit out of the User Details window.

8. Check the XChangeServiceUser’s email inbox and record the assigned password.

9. Send your App Xchange Customer Success Manager the following information:

Once your App Xchange Customer Success Manager confirms that your CMiC User was successfully created, your ERP Connection is complete. Next, they will configure the CMiC Connector in your App Xchange Workspace.
