Keep up to date with the latest changes in App Xchange.

Public and Private Connectors

This update clarifies the distinction between public and private connectors, ensuring users have accurate information about their development and maintenance. For more information, see Build a Connector.

Public connectors are available to anyone with permission to build integrations. For a full list of public connectors, see App Connectors. If you want your connector to be made public, email xchange_build@trimble.com

Private connectors are created and maintained by external connector builders. These connectors and integrations are sold directly by their respective builders.

Note: At this time all connectors built by external partners will be marked as private.

Connector JSON Schemas and OpenAPI Specifications

The App Xchange user interface now provides an inline view of connector data objects and actions in the modules tab of the connector detail page, enabling integration and flow builders to quickly review each connector's JSON schema. To view the full OpenAPI specification for a connector in a different tab, select the OpenAPI link next to each module.

Enhanced Connections Table and Details Page

The connections table now shows all connections owned or used by an account. This column can be filtered to display owned connectors or used connectors individually. The Connection Details page now also tags external connections.

Enhanced OAuth Client dropdown

The OAuth clients dropdown list is now grouped into Connector Clients and Account Clients, allowing users to easily distinguish between the two.
